Offset Stairs

Offset stairs are extremely uncommon and I can't remember the last time I built one. They could be used in split level homes, but even that would be a rare.

These stairs will require some stair building knowledge, in order to build them correctly. This stairway will require the same experience level as it would be to build any L or U-shaped stairs with a landing.

If built right this stairways will provide you with an excellent safety level rating. Even if you fell from the top of the stairway, there's a good chance the landing would prevent you from falling down the rest of the stairs.
