The design of a stairway or home is usually referred to
as the planning stage. The design can also represent a type of
construction or building. The picture below represents the floor plan of
a stairway that is going to be located inside of a two-story home.

Usually architects and engineers provide the
forethought necessary to design a building. The design of the building
will include all of the information necessary to assemble it, according
to local building codes, using common construction practices.
Stairway Designs
Straight Stairs: A straight stairway design is a set of stairs
that won't change directions. Straight stairs remain in a constant
straight line, providing users with an unobstructed path.
Landing Stairs: This would be a set of stairs that goes up to a
stair landing and then continues the rest of the way until it reaches
the next floor level.
Circular Stairs: a set of circular stairs is a stairway that
curve in one direction or another. Some circular stairs are elliptical,
while others can be built using a simple circle.
Stair Design Tip: The stairway is a vital component to any
building and should be planned and designed accordingly. Verify and
double check all of your elevation and floor plans for any
irregularities or potential problems, before starting construction.
