The width of a circle, using a straight line that runs
directly through the center. Half of a circle's diameter is referred to
as the radius.
If you're planning on building circular or curved
stairways, the diameter, radius and circumference of a circle could make
all the difference in the world.
If you're working with a set of building plans, the diameter of the
stairway, should be listed on the floor plan. Every once in a while, you
will need to create your own circular stairway measurements or make
adjustments, to the architects.
