A knob comes in different shapes and sizes. We have door
knobs, cabinet knobs, drawer knobs and decorative knobs. You can
purchase them in different colors and building materials also. Knobs are
made out of metal, plastic, wood and even ceramics.

Where Would You Use A Knob On A Stairway?
To be honest with you, I can't really think of one place that you would
use a knob, while building, framing or finishing a stairway. However,
there have been creative designers who have used them in the past and
will probably use them in the future.
I visited a building in Mexico, while on vacation and to my surprise,
someone had placed a door knob at the end of every single step. I
thought it looked neat but the extra time that it took me to walk up the
stairway, was ridiculous.
I don't know why I did it, but I needed to try and turn each one of
these knobs, as I walked up the stairs. By the time I reached the top
step, I realized that none of them turned or opened any magical doorway.
When it comes right down to it, almost any decorative materials can be
used to decorate a stairway, you just need to start thinking, outside of
the box. |
