A level quarter turn is usually a pre-manufactured part
on a wood handrail but can be shaped on a metal handrailing. This parts
of the handrail will be used to create a level (horizontal) 90° turn in
a handrail. The picture below provides you with an excellent example of
a round metal pipe that was shaped, to create a level 90° turn.
