Maple is a hardwood that's often used for cabinets,
furniture and stair building. It's a light-colored wood and actually has
one of the most fascinating grain designs. A good example of Maple is
provided for you in the picture below.
This was one of my grandfather's favorite woods. You
could rarely go over to his house, without finding a piece of Maple,
laying around in the garage. He was constantly building cabinets and
furniture for family and friends.
