Concrete Curb Stairs

Concrete curbs stairs are a great way to keep dirt out of your stairway. You can build the concrete curb at the edge of the stairs as tall as necessary to keep the dirt away from the stairs while providing a nice looking set of stairs. This set of stairs costs a little more money to build than a regular concrete set of stairs without the curb.

The Ultimate Landscape Stairway

If you're thinking about building a set of stairs outside of your home or another building, a concrete stairway with a concrete curb, good make all the difference in the world. All you need to do is go around and look at the stairways that don't have any curbs and see what they look like.

It won't take long to realize that these stairs will reduce the amount of debris, on the stairway, from the landscaping and other sections, of the property. I can't tell you, how many times I've ran across a stairway without a curb that was dirty or had splotches of dirt, creating slippery conditions, throughout the stairway.

Whenever you're planning or designing an exterior stairway, try to factor in all of the potential problems that you could be dealing with, in the future. Any of these problems that can be eliminated, especially by installing a concrete curb around the perimeter of the stairway and the walkways or sidewalks, leading to the stairway, could save you a lot of work and maintenance in the future.
