| This is rare to see a brick and wood set of
stairs. The main problem with this set of stairs is attaching the wood
treads to the brick stringers. Most of the time they will be built using
anchor bolts that are built into the brick. Then counter sinking holes
into the 3 x 12 stair treads so they can be bolted to the brick
stringers.
