Wood Spiral Stairs

What a nice looking set of wood spiral stairs. The materials used in building this set of spiral stairs looks like clear Douglas Fir.

This set of spiral stairs was probably pre fabricated off site somewhere.

Something to keep in mind when using or designing a house with a set of spiral stairs is furniture. These stairs are very difficult to move furniture or large objects up and down.

If you are remodeling a house with spiral stairs and or building a new house, give some thought to how you are going to get the furniture up into the new room.

Sometimes it's easier to move the furniture before the stairs are actually built or installed in place.
